Module works by creating new Sensor instance and injecting it into SystemSensorManager sensor list after its constructor, so getDefaultSensor(Sensor.TYPE_GYROSCOPE) will return it. Most Android device that fall in the mid-to-low end category don’t come equipped with a Gyroscope sensor, making augmented reality a tough challenge for these devices.īut thanks to developer Mourdraug over at xda, who is working on a Xposed module called GyroEmu that uses Accelerometer and Magnetic Field Sensor of an Android device to simulate Gyroscope output.
